About the role

In this role you will be effectively engaging families who have been referred to our Churches of Christ Care Prevention and Early Intervention Services . The Intensive Family Services team uses a a range of assessments, short-term practical interventions and therapeutic approaches to develop case plans to assist families with multiple and complex needs.

Your role includes providing direct, in-home support services to families, including the provision of after hours and 'on-call' services on a rotational basis as well as undertaking risk and needs assessments and providing advice and facilitating referrals. Ideally, you will have had experience in developing case plans collaboratively with families and key stakeholders involved with the family.

About you

You are passionate about the welfare of children and achieving the absolute best outcomes for them.

You will have completed a recognised qualification (Degree level or higher) in Social/Behavioural Sciences or related discipline.

You will hold a current Drivers Licence as the position requires travel to the Bowen Basin Mining region
